Push-up and Rotation Steps:
Step 1: Start out on the mat in a push-up position, hands and feet on the floor with your body off the mat.
Step 2: Perform a push-up by lowering your body to the mat and extending your self back up off the mat.
Step 3: Now rotate your body to the right by lifting your right arm off the mat and pointing it at the ceiling. This should cause you to be in the position of a side plank.
Step 4: Return your right hand to the mat, back into the push-up position and then perform a push-up however repeat the twist with your left hand.
